Essential Tips

Driving in Goa: What to Expect

Make your road trip seamless. Follow these crucial tips when booking with Mansoor Car Rentals to avoid fines and hassles.

Minimum Age Requirement

To hire a self-drive car in Goa through Mansoor Car Rentals, the primary driver must be at least 18 years old with a valid Indian driving license. Goa's winding roads require focus, so we prioritize safety and adherence to legal driving limits.

Navigating Traffic & Checkpoints

All rental vehicles feature distinct black plates with yellow lettering. Because of this, tourists are frequently stopped at checkpoints. Always carry your digital or physical driving license, and ensure the Mansoor Car Rentals paperwork is in your glovebox to breeze through routine stops.

Selecting Your Perfect Ride

Choosing the right vehicle from Mansoor Car Rentals depends on your itinerary. For narrow lanes in North Goa, a nimble hatchback like the Maruti Swift is ideal. For luxury or larger groups heading to South Goa, book one of our spacious SUVs or Sedans directly from Mopa or Dabolim airport.

Roadside Assistance Protocol

Never attempt DIY repairs if you face mechanical trouble. Whether it's a flat tire or an engine alert, immediately contact the Mansoor Car Rentals support team. We will dispatch professional assistance or a replacement vehicle. Unauthorized repairs may void your rental agreement.

Strict State Border Policies

Our standard fleet is strictly for exploring the beauty of Goa. Taking a rental car across the Goa-Maharashtra or Goa-Karnataka border without explicit prior permission and an All-India Tourist Permit is strictly prohibited and will trigger GPS alerts.
